From October 11-15, UN Habitat and the IPCC hosted a global virtual conference focusing on the challenges of urban adaptation to climate change. Several members of the Coalition for Archaeological Synthesis participated in the event, with CCSA Director Scott Ortman spoke in a panel entitled “Urban Science: learning from the past and innovating for the future,” and Tim Kohler spoke in a plenary session entitled “Addressing emerging topics – how new insights and evolutions shape the future science and innovation agenda.” You can learn more about the conference here.
