Brief Biography
Katie is a Senior Research Associate in the Prevention Science Program, specializing in youth well-being, particularly among those involved in child welfare systems. Her work focuses on reproductive health, preventive interventions, and the systems that support young people. She leads randomized controlled trials evaluating interventions and leads studies using secondary data to examine factors influencing reproductive health and the implementation of evidence-based interventions. Trained in social work and public health, Katie is committed to interdisciplinary, applied research. She is based in the Center for Resilience + Well-Being, collaborates across multiple teams in the Prevention Science Program, and is an affiliate of the Population Program.
