The Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence (CSPV) has been awarded an $869,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to build upon CSPV’s work with CU Boulder’s Police Department (CUPD) to develop a protocol for law enforcement officers to use in identifying and responding to threats. In partnership with the Colorado Attorney General’s Office and the Colorado Information and Analysis Center (CIAC), CSPV aims to expand the reach of the Targeted Violence Lethality Assessment Protocol (TV-LAP) across Colorado and to develop a state-wide case management database for threat assessment. Learn more about the TV-LAP.
