My research interests focus on the impact of adverse childhood experiences on families, with an emphasis on the neuroscience of trauma. I explore how early trauma affects brain development and long-term health outcomes, while also highlighting the importance of self-care practices in healing and the prevention of trauma through proactive, resilience-building approaches for both individuals and caregivers.
